Managing 3D views in PDFs
The Default View tool lets you quickly revert to the starting view. You can find the Default View function on the 3D Toolbar or right-click and choose Views > Default View. You can also save the current views of the 3D model to the list.
3D views can be associated with bookmarks, buttons, and links to let you easily navigate through 3D content. You can link views to bookmarks, buttons, and links using the Go to a 3D view action and then specify the 3D view to be linked to.
Default view
You can use the Default View tool on the 3D Toolbar to revert the 3D model to its default view, which is normally the initial view when it’s first placed on a PDF page.

Use the Hand tool to activate 3D models.

Use the Default View tool on the 3D Toolbar to revert the 3D model view to the starting view any time you interact with the 3D model. Or you can right-click on the model and choose Views > Default View.
Create and display a custom view
You can use the Views Editor option or directly click the Add a New View on the 3D Toolbar to add a new view. In the Views Editor dialog box, you can not only add a new view, and set a default view, but also delete, rename, and rearrange the list of views. All available views for the 3D models are listed in the View Menu drop-down list on the 3D Toolbar.

Activate the 3D model. Click the 3D object with the Hand tool, or right-click on it and select Activate 3D.

Adjust the view using the Rotate, Spin, Pan, Walk, and Zoom tools.

Do any of the following to add a new view:

Click Add a new view on the 3D Toolbar.

Right-click the 3D model and choose Views > View Editor. In the Views Editor dialog box, click Add a new view and then click

To change the view, do an appropriate action:

Change the default view

Right-click the 3D model and choose Views > View Editor from the menu.

In the Views Editor dialing box, click to highlight the view you want to set as the default view and click Use view as default. Click OK.
Add a 3D view to a bookmark, link, or button
Before starting to link 3D views to bookmarks, links, or buttons, make sure there are one or more defined views for a 3D model. If there is an existing bookmark, button, or link in a PDF file, you can associate it with the 3D object by the Go to a 3D view action, or create a new one for this purpose.

Do any of the following:

To link a view to an existing bookmark, link, or button, right-click one and then select Properties….

To create a new bookmark, choose Document > Navigation > In the Bookmarks panel, click New Bookmark
and then name the bookmark. Then right-click it and choose Properties… to open the Bookmark Properties dialog box. See Create a bookmark.

To create a button, choose Form > Form > Button. On the page, drag a rectangle where you want the button to appear. The Button Properties dialog box appears right after the button is created. Or, you can use the Select tool to double-click it or right-click and select Properties… to open the dialog. See Create a button field.

To create a link, choose Document > Link > Link. Drag a rectangle where you want the link to appear. Then in the Create Link dialog box, under Action, select Custom link and then click Next. The Link Properties dialog box appears. See Create a link.

In the Properties dialog box, click the Actions

Select Go to a 3D view from the Select Action drop-down menu and click Add….

In the Select a 3D View dialog box, select the 3D annotation for the 3D model from the list in the Select a 3D Annotation setting box. Then select a 3D view option from the Select a 3D View menu as below and click OK:

Current View: It links to the view at the time you create the link, button, or bookmark. It still works even though this view is not listed in the View Menu as a defined view.

First View: It changes to the view placed at the top of the View Menu.

Last View: It changes to the view placed at the bottom of the View Menu.

Previous View: It moves up the defined views listed in the View Menu, one view at a time.

Next View: It moves down the defined views listed in the View Menu, one view at a time.

Named View: It changes to the view that you define in the Named View menu.

Click Close.
Delete a 3D view
You can use the Views Editor dialog box to delete a selected view.

Right-click the 3D model and choose Views > View Editor.

In the Views Editor dialog box, select the view you want to remove from the list and then click the Delete a view icon
.

Click OK.
