Using Switch Windows, you can switch between documents you have already opened. It is especially useful if you have opened a large number of PDF documents and want to quickly switch between them.

  1. Open multiple files and choose View > Window > Switch Windows .

  2. Do either of the following to switch between open windows:

    • Click the down-pointing arrow next to Switch Windows and select the document you want to view from the menu.

    • (Windows command) Hold down Alt+Tab on your keyboard and press the Tab key repeatedly until the desired document window is selected. Release the keys to go to the selected document window.

Note: Alt + Tab only works on individual open document windows. Those in Tabbed View will not be affected.
