Edit a bookmark
Rename a bookmark label

Open a PDF file that contains bookmarks or create bookmarks by yourself.

In the Bookmarks panel, select a bookmark and do either of the following:

Right-click on it and select Rename Bookmark from the options. Then type the new bookmark name.

Double-click on it and type the new bookmark name.

Click on Bookmarks Panel Option and select Rename Bookmark. Then type in the new bookmark name.
Edit preferences of bookmarks display
The preference options menu lets you decide the text size and whether you want to highlight the current bookmark, hide the Bookmarks panel after using, and show all text regardless of the width of the Bookmarks panel.

In the Bookmarks panel, choose Bookmarks Panel Option > Preference to view bookmarks display options.
To highlight current bookmark
When you are viewing the content the bookmark points to, the paper sheet sign to the left of the bookmark becomes highlighted

Click the Bookmarks Panel Option button
at the top of the Bookmarks panel, and choose Preference > Highlight Current Bookmark.

If deselected, the bookmark icon
of the page you are viewing stays dimmed.
To wrap text in long bookmarks
The names of long bookmarks are displayed in full regardless of the width of the Bookmarks panel.
Click the Bookmarks Panel Option button
at the top of the Bookmarks panel and choose Preference > Wrap Long Bookmarks. Check to turn this option on and uncheck to off.
To hide the Bookmarks panel after use
The Bookmarks panel can be automatically closed after you click a bookmark to go to its destination.
Click the Bookmarks Panel Option button
at the top of the Bookmarks panel and choose Preference > Hide After Use.
Text size
Decide the text size of bookmarks. Click the Bookmarks Panel Option button
at the top of the Bookmarks panel and choose Preference > Text Size.
Customize bookmark appearances and behavior
Change the text appearance
You can change the appearance of one or more selected bookmarks to draw extra attention to them.

Open the Bookmarks panel and select one or more bookmarks. To select multiple bookmarks, click on one and Ctrl + click to select more.

Right-click on any of the selected bookmarks and select Properties….

In the Attributes tab of the Bookmark Properties dialog box:

Click Close.
Add an action to a bookmark
Bookmarks can be set to perform one or more actions in the order you specify.

Open the Bookmarks panel and select one or more bookmarks.

Right-click on the selected bookmarks and select Properties….

In the Actions tab of the Bookmark Properties dialog box, you can see the default action is to go to a defined page in the document.

Select one action from the Select Action drop-down menu and click Add….

Use the Up and Down buttons to set up the action order.

Click Close.
Add the same actions to multiple bookmarks

Open the Bookmarks panel and Ctrl-click to select multiple bookmarks.

Right-click on the selected bookmarks and select Properties… from the options menu.

In the Bookmark Properties dialog box, assign an action by selecting one from the Select Action drop-down menu and click Add to add it to the Do Actions list. If you see Varies in the Do Actions list, delete it to proceed.
Set where a bookmark points to
When you create a new bookmark, the current view is set as the destination the bookmark points to. You can set a new destination for a bookmark.

In the Bookmarks panel, select a bookmark.

Move to the target location in the current PDF document and change the page zoom if necessary. When finished, click the Set Destination button
at the top of the Bookmarks panel.

When prompted, click OK to set the new destination of the selected bookmark to the current location.
