The Sidebar Navigation pane contains buttons along the left side of the window which provide quick access to various panels, enable navigating through the PDF, and help perform various functions on PDF files.

Show or hide panels on display

When you open a PDF document, it contains Hand and Select shortcuts and 5 default panels by default, which are Bookmarks, Page Thumbnails, Attachments, Comments and Stamps, listed vertically on the left side of work area. You can right-click to show the menu and then select/deselect the items to decide which will be displayed on the pane, or select Reset Panels from the options to restore the default settings. Note that whenever you open a new PDF document, it shows the 2 shortcuts (Hand and Select) and the 5 default panels.

  1. To hide a panel(s), right-click anywhere in the navigation pane and deselect the panel(s) you don’t want to appear on the navigation pane.

  2. To show a panel(s), right-click anywhere in the navigation pane and select the panel(s) you want to appear on the navigation pane.

  3. To restore the default settings, right-click anywhere in the navigation pane and select Reset panels from the options.
