3D Toolbar overview
The 3D toolbar lets you view and interact with the 3D content you place on your PDF page. Click on the 3D canvas with the Hand tool to display the 3D toolbar, which appears on the top-left border of the canvas and cannot be removed. Using the 3D toolbar, you can spin, rotate, pan across, and dynamically zoom in and out the object.
You can also open the Model tree panel by clicking on the Model tree icon
on the 3D toolbar. In the Model tree panel, you can hide, or isolate certain parts of the model or make selected parts transparent.

It turns 3D objects around on its axis. Where you start dragging and in which direction you drag determine the how the objects move.

It turns a 3D model in parallel to two fixed axes, the x-axis and the z-axis.

It moves the model vertically and horizontally only. You can also pan by holding down Ctrl on your keyboard and dragging the model using the Hand tool.

Walk. If you drag horizontally, the model pivots horizontally around the scene; if you drag vertically, the model moves forward or backward in the scene.

Drag the model vertically to move it forward or away from you. You can also hold down Shift and drag with the Hand tool.

3D Measurement Tool. It helps to measure size and distance in the 3D model. See Measuring 3D objects in PDFs.

Model Tree. It opens and hides the Model Tree See Model Tree overview.

Default View. It brings the model back to its original look.

View Menu. It lists any defined views for the current 3D model.

Add a New View. It saves the current view to the View Menu. Once you set up a desired view, click the Add a New View icon on the toolbar to save the view to the Views Editor view list.

Pause/Play animation. It plays or pauses any JavaScript-enabled animation.

Use Orthographic/Perspective Projection. It switches between displaying orthographic and perspective projection of the 3D object.

Render Mode. It determines how the 3D shape appears. See Change the appearance of the 3D model. You can also access it by choosing Model Tree panel > 3D Model Tree Options > Render Mode.

Extra Lights. It lists different lighting effects that can be used to enhance the illumination of the 3D object. See Change the appearance of the 3D model.

Background Color. You can specify a background color for the 3D canvas in which the 3D model appears. Click the color palette to select a predefined color or define a custom color.
Note: to get more 3D tools, right-click anywhere on the 3D canvas and select Expand 3D Tools. The expanded 3D toolbar includes four more tools: View Menu, Use Orthographic Projection (Use Perspective Projection), Render Mode, and Extra Lights.
