Multimedia
You can add movie and sound file to the document using the Multimedia tools in Advanced tab.
Multimedia preferences

Do any of the following to open the Preferences dialog box:

In the Preferences dialog box, choose Movie > Multimedia and select the options as needed:

Preferred Media Player. Select the preferred application to play media content.

Accessibility Options. Determine whether to show supplemental text captions and audio description, and/or play dubbed audio when available.

Remove All Trusted Documents. Remove the documents currently on the Trusted Documents. When a movie within PDF is played, a dialog box will appear and ask you to either play only the movie or add it to Trusted Documents. If you select the latter, you will not see the dialog box when you play movies in that document next time.
Play multimedia
If a PDF contains multimedia files, they often come with play areas that can be activated. Play area usually appears as an image or blank field. To play multimedia files, please make sure you have installed supporting applications.
Note: when you first play a multimedia file within PDF, a dialog box will appear and ask you to either play it straightaway or add it to Trusted Documents. If you select the latter, you will not see the dialog box when you play multimedia files in that document next time.
Add multimedia to PDFs
Using Movie/ Sound tools, you can add movie clips or audio files to the document and make it easy for audience to understand your ideas. For unsupported file formats, you need to install appropriate applications, such as QuickTime, to play the multimedia.
Add a video or a sound file to a page

Open a PDF file and choose Advanced > Movie or Sound .

After you see the cross-hair pointer on the page, drag or double-click to select the area where you want the video clip or the audio file to appear.

In the Add Sound/ Add Movie dialog box, select the options to configure content and cover settings and then click OK:

Media Compatibility. Make the multimedia file compatible with a PDF version. For example, if you choose PDF 1.5 and later, only applications supporting version 1.5 or later can play the multimedia files. Then add a URL in the Location field or click the Browse… button to find the media file.

Location. Add a URL or click Browse to add a multimedia file. Please enter the complete URL which also includes the extension.

Content Type. The type of the multimedia file added. If you have chosen a multimedia file in Location, file type will be acquired automatically. But if you use a URL in Location, you need to specify yourself.

Embed content in document. On by default. Directly embed the file to play into the page.

Snap to content proportions. Ensure that the play area retains the height and width ratios of the original video or interactive content.

Edit the play area
You can use the Movie tool, Sound tool or Select tool to move, delete, or resize the multimedia files. Move the cursor over the play area to show the handles on the borders of the play area, even if you have made the borders invisible.

Open a PDF file containing multimedia files, and select Movie/ Sound/Select tool.

Using the Movie, Sound or Select tool, select the play area .Hover over the play area to show the red handles on the borders of it.

Click the play area and then do an appropriate action as needed:

Move. Click-drag the clip to move its icon to a new location on the page.

Delete. Right-click the play area and select Edit > Delete, or press Delete on the keyboard.

Resize. Drag one of the corners of the frame till it is the desired size. You can hold down Shift to retain the correct proportions for video clip.
